Crooked Moon Farm is on commercial hiatus. We’re still here, still grateful to be caring for the land & farming on a small scale in our community, but we aren’t currently vending anywhere or running CSAs. Thank you for all the love & support at past farmers markets (and during our 2023 flower subscription) – we’ll let you know when things change again for us!
We are a small, LGBTQ artist-owned family farm primarily growing flowers and fruit, with an emphasis on sustainability and cultivating native species. We’re committed to restoration, conservation, and supporting our communities through food, art, and social action.
Located in Ashfield, MA, on the ancestral lands of the Pocumtuc, Nipmuc & Schaghticoke people, our 4 acres include several historic farm outbuildings (some 200+ years old) and the house where we all live, as well as a beautiful branch of the South River winding across the field. As the current stewards, we believe in honoring the long history of this land and securing its future by working in connection with nature to re-establish healthy ecosystems that can support local wildlife – including us humans! This means we are pesticide/herbicide-free, low & no-till, and do much of our farm work by hand.
